FIEP develops cooperation with CONFEJES, new FIEP African Francophone Section was established in Dakar, Senegal, 4th - 7th of April 2017

FIEP was invited on meetings of Commission Consultative Permanente on Education of Professionals in Physical Education, Sports and Leisure (CCPFC) of Conference of Ministers of Sports and Youth of African French Speaking Countries (CONFEJES). Meetings were held from 4th to 7th of April 2017 in Dakar, Senegal. In meetings participated directors of National Institutes from 16 African countries and other invited guests. Chair of new FIEP African Francophone Section will be Morocco and members of board will be: for Central Africa – Cameroun, for West Africa – Senegal and Benin, for Maghreb – Tunisia and for Indian Ocean region - Madagascar. Signature of convention is result of cooperation between FIEP and CONFEJES started in 2015 during 1st FIEP Afro-European Conference on Physical Education and Sport organised by Institut Royal des Formation des Cadres in Rabat, Morocco and will be developed in different areas - research, publications, education of professionals, awarding of personalities and organisations of events. Convention on cooperation and on creation of FIEP African Francophone Section was signed by Bouramah ALI HAROUNA, General Secretary of CONFEJES and Branislav ANTALA, FIEP World International Vice-president.
