REPORT

from 11th FIEP European Congress

 

11th FIEP European Congress was held from 14th – 18th of September 2016 in Banja Luka, Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Topic of the congress was “Anthropological Aspects of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation”. Congress was organized by Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of University of Banja Luka and its partners. Special thank belongs to the FIEP national delegates of Bosnia and Hercegovina, chairs of Organising and Scientific Committee and to all others, who participated on preparation of this important event. In congress opening ceremony participated Jasmin Komic, Minister of Science and Technology of Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Milan Mataruga, Rector of University of Banja Luka.

In congress were registered participants from 24 countries. Simo Vukovic (Bosnia and Herzegovina) was awarded by “Medlaha Manuel Gomes Tubino”, Slobodan Simovic and Goran Bosnjak (Bosna and Herzegovina) were awarded by “Medalha FIEP” and Alekseevna Elizaveta Bogacheva (Russia) and Dagmar Sigmundová (Czech Republic) were awarded by “FIEP Europe Thulin Award 2016”. 2nd launch of FIEP Future Leaders program for graduate or doctoral students or young teachers was a part of the congress.
